2009 Event InformationAfter three very exciting and well patronised years, preparation is progressing well for the 2009 event. The event will be on the weekend of the 8th and 9th of August. The field for 2009 has been capped at 50 teams and we have reached grid capacity. For a list of Team Numbers and Driver Alpha's click herePre-event document check will be conducted at Bells Hotel Morau Street South Melbourne on Monday 3rd August from 7.30pm until 9.30pm. In previous years this has proven to be a valuable evening for all teams who can attend to get together and make final preparations for the event. The Hotel serves dinner from 6.00pm and those wishing to eat before the document check commences should ring the Hotel and make a reservation.Friday evening park up will again be held this year on the 7th August. Access to the circuit will be via gate 1A from 5.30pm until 7.30pm. Garage keys will be available for collection at this time but no document check will be carried out until Saturday morning.What do I need? Plan your team and down load the regulations from the link below. What is the cost?The 2009 Entry fee has been held at the 2008 price of $1500.00 per team. Your entry gives competitors Saturday for practice and strategy planning followed by 6 hours of competition on the Sunday. It's not just an event for the drivers! A lot of work goes into an event like this on both the organising and competing side of the fence. Officials are needed to help run the event and most teams will gratefully accept extra pit crew to help keep the cars on the track!
